Description

Our Two-Roll Mills have a modern and pleasing design with a compact machine body, constructed for optimum flexibility to allow for numerous optional features. The left and right side of the roll assembly is equipped with swing open cabinets, which gives easy access to the entire upper part of the Two-Roll Mill.

The control cabinet is mounted on a swing arm, enabling many positions for the best viewing possibilities.

Labtech two-roll mill supplied complete with:

TRUE 3-zone electric heating and water-cooling of the rolls: using electric cartridge heaters placed inside the rolls with same spiral channel water-cooling as on standard mills. Three digital PID temperature controllers here regulate individually three electric heater zones on each roll. With this option, the cooling of the rolls is very rapid. With this option, the poerator acan use the rubber mill as for the processing of the thermoplastic and the max temperature of the rolls is here 250ºC.

In addition, other options for the rubber mill are available:

Hydraulic quick opening of roll for emergency: this option will enable an emergency opening of the rear roll wich will be activated when touching any of the emergency stops, i.e. the emergency bar over the rolls or the knee activated front and rear panels or the emergency stop on top of the control panel.
Infrared temperature measurement of a rolling bank and wrap-arround layer: an infrared sensor with a narrow measuring bream will accurately measure the temperature of the material being compounded on the mill. Digital readout of the rolling bank temperature on the control panel.
Sideways adjustable Non-touching bronze platens: the side plates are attached to two sliding holders with quick locks and mounted on two steel bars over the rolls so they can be moved inwards to reduce the working area.
